Your dog family is so well taken care of and your house is immaculate.  So different from what I encountered the first 4 months of searching. 
And Judi, you couldn't have been more welcoming.  You returned my calls and answered all of my questions from your heart and expert knowledge.

Dear Judi and Gene,

Here is a picture of our Sweet Lacey. What a happy addition she has been to our family-she fit in right away and is adored by all. Her sweet disposition and calm temperment make her easy to train and take anywhere. Lacey is the star in puppy class and so friendly to everyone she meets-especially children. Her color is truly unique-like butterscotch and is golden blonde on her chest and undercoat-she is simply beautiful. From start to finish my experience with your kennel was so very pleasant. You were always easy to reach and available for any questions I had. Thank you for being so accomodating and for your help with Sweet Lacey. (Sweet for Sweet Kailua her mom) I will send you more pictures to post on your website. I fully understand now what a challenge it can be to get the right picture of a squirmy puppy! You do a marvelous job with ladyjsdoxies.com and breeding the most scrumptious puppies.

Hi Judi and Gene,

 I hope this finds you both well. My little baby girls, Kyrah (meaning "the Sun") and Luna (meaning "the Moon") are doing terrific. They are absolute bundles of joy and just keep growing by the minute. Although, they are from different parents, you would never know it. They are completely devoted to each other and play endlessly with each other. 

Kyrah is quite the socialite as we have started on regular walks. She is sure that each and every other dog in the neighborhood wants to be her playmate. So far...she has been right! Other dogs just love her. Luna, better known as "Lu-Lu the kissing machine" is more content to just give her attention to the human-variety. They both have delightful personalities and incredibly sweet dispositions. I am thoroughly in love with both of them. They are beautiful, smart, funny, energetic and loving...what more could I ask for!!

Of course, everyone stops and takes notice when they see the girls. I can't tell you how many times I have bragged about the two of you in conversations with people and have on many occasions given them your website. You are wonderful, caring people who "make" terrific "babies" and thereby spread a whole lot of love on the rest of us who are fortunate enough to be blessed with the off-spring of Lady J's Doxies. Thank you for your devotion to what you do. It makes a lot of people very happy.

I have attached some photos of my babies. With the LAKER nut that I am, of course, one of the first orders of business was to get them into their own LAKER jerseys (they have already outgrown those). The other two photos are from the last few days. In taking photos, I have an absolute respect for how well you are able to get those great poses for the website!

Take good care of yourselves and just keep doing what you do! Thank you, again, for my "little loves"!!

      Hi Judi,  Where to begin!!??   We are sooo happy with our little
Benny!  The first picture is at 3 months and the next two were taken today. He is about 7.5 lbs now, very playful, sweet, loving, smart, and great with the grandkids!!  He loves to go "out", especially to Home Depot where everyone thinks he is so adorable!  He seems to love everyone he meets and they love him back.  He is the first and only dog that has ever slept in our bed!  He's just too cute to resist.  As you can see, his coat has gotten very blonde and now it is beginning to get longer as well.  Thank you so much for providing us with such a wonderful little dog!!  We love him!

Dear Judy,
 
I just wanted to send you a few pictures of Killian. He had just gotten done taking a bath, which he does not mind, but blow drying, forget about it. Anyway this is where he went when he was done being dried off. Now tell me that is not cute! He is just a joy to have in our home. He never barks unless we are showering and I swear it's because he wants in. He uses his stairs after showing him once. He sleeps with Tim and I every night. He learned how to sit and bring back his toy so he can get it again.  He sits before he gets his food. He now knows how to lay down when told. He is so smart!! We love him. Everyone who sees him, thinks he is the most beautiful mini dachshund they have ever seen.
 
Thank you for such a wonderful addition to our family. I will continue to send you pictures of our handsome little boy as he grows.

Dear Judy,

Thank you for waiting for this correspondence.  It took so long because my laptop computer which holds all of our photos dropped on the rock floor in December--it destroyed the screen.  It wasn't until last week that I finally acquired a new computer where I could download all of the pictures I have taken since December.

Let me just tell you that Hana is doing so well, and is so loved by all!  I have passed your website along to a few people, each of whom were in love at first sight.  Hana and Sampson play so well together, and everyday they enjoy playing tug-of-war, hide-and-go-seek, and tag.  She is so fast, despite her short legs!  We are spoiling her in all the right ways:  sleeping with us at night, specially prepared organic beef, chicken, etc., and hundreds of kisses everyday!!  My husband is so in love with her that it is because of him Hana is able to sleep in our bed every night.  She starts sleeping at Dan's feet and then eventually moves up to the pillows where her head and snout are wrapped around my neck.  Irresistible!  She is such a love, has a calm disposition and yet is so fun.  Each of us is truly in love with her, for she is a very special Dachshund.  Thank you so much.

I trust Gene is doing really well.  My little Bronson is recuperating from Pneumonia!  Please take good care and stay away from sick people.

We were sorry not to see you today at the picnic. It was so much fun! A very interesting thing happened. I walked by a woman who had a cream long-hair that I thought looked so much like Sunny & Mac. I stopped to talk to her and told her that our boys had a littermate that looked like her dog. As it turned out, his name is Sampras, and he wasn't the littermate but he was in your litter that was born near the beginning of May. Then we saw another woman who also has one of your dogs. His name is Teddy, and he's about a year and a half old. It was so interesting that we all agreed that there is a "look" to the Lady J's dogs. We were all very proud because our dogs are so beautiful. I took these photos and thought you would enjoy them.

Hi Judy!!!

I'm not sure if you remember me, but I bought Sally a couple of months ago.

She's absolutely wonderful!! Snoopy has finally warmed up to her, and they've been bonding. It's so cute!

She's funny, sweet, and so far, I haven't met anyone who hasn't been won over by her charm.

Thank you so much for this new addition to my family, and the next time I want another doxie, I'm coming back to you!

He's PERFECT! Thank you so much! Little Max is fitting in famously with our family. Our black doxie, Lucy, and he act like they've been best friends forever. We took them all for a walk this evening and as you can see, they have it rough:)

Hi Judi and Gene!

We took the boys to the Dachshund Picnic a couple of weeks ago. They were a huge hit because they're so beautiful. LOTS of people wanted to know where we got them, so you got a lot of free advertising!

A professional photographer took this photo just because she thought they were so handsome, and then she sent it to me at no charge. They had their leashes on, but she "Photo Shopped" them out of the picture.

Some of Mac's black is disappearing, and he has most of his adult coat (not the length, maybe, but the texture and color). Sunny is getting lighter, but he still has a lot of puppy fuzz left. Sunny is still larger, but Mac is closing the gap. They both weigh between 9 and 10 pounds at this point, and the vet says "they're perfect"!

Many thanks for bringing us such wonderful boys into our lives!

Hi Judy

Just a little note to let you know that after a family conference and 4 rounds of gradual elimination voting, we have decided to name Danny --- Dino. Here are some pictures of him at home with the kids. He is such a wonderful dog, Judy. Spirited and outgoing but calm and confident. He is a perfect fit for our entire family. He is loving and well loved. And he's smart as a whip!

Just wanted to share a few photos of the girls. Molly loves her new sister Ruby! Thank you so much for breeding such wonderful puppies. Our vet even commented on what nice dogs you breed! We are having loads of fun with them! They are really the sweetest dogs ever!

Thank you SOOOOOOO much for the quick response. His parents are gorgeous. I had no idea that his Daddy was a black and tan. Maybe that is why he is so red. They are both stunning. And he will be too. He is such a character. MADLY, loved by everyone at the Hampton house. He is truly one of the most special we will ever have. He plays hard with his sister, and his big brother still lets him know that he is the boss, but once Coop grows up I think Mal will have a hard time keeping up. Thank you again for such a blessing. He is the best kisser ever and wakes everybody up with a happy face a big kiss.
